Large language models are inarguably a highly useful tool for a multitude of reasons—however, author Andrian Chan insightfully breaks down how LLMs could be more enjoyable for users by invoking a more human spirit of collaboration in conversation.
One point proposed is that LLMs have no inherent interest in a conversation with a user—but if an LLM could be trained to question rather than answer, a more dynamic exchange could be prompted, leading to user excitement and enrichment.

UX designers make a tremendous amount of decisions, from obvious and large-scale design decisions to how a user will engage with microinteractions. But mental fatigue from constant choices can deplete creativity and lead to burnout.

Neurodesign: 7 Tips for Deeper Emotional Engagement

Neurodesign considers how psychology and neurosciences inform the way users interact with elements of design, and how engagement and user satisfaction can be improved by implementing tenets of neurodesign in UX.
One fantastic example of neurodesign is the task manager, Asana: they use playful animations for completing tasks and giving kudos to other team members, bringing a sense of surprise and delight to users around what could otherwise be mundane tasks.
