At Designlab we pride ourselves on offering mentor-led design education that is both rigorous and affordable. It’s how we pursue our guiding mission—empowering creators to do the work they love.
Since we first launched UX Academy back in 2015, our graduates have experienced some amazing successes: many have left behind stressful and unsatisfactory careers, and found fulfillment and flexibility in their new vocation as UX designers. (You can read more success stories here.)
A year ago, we completed a major overhaul of UX Academy. By collaborating with expert outside advisors in design education and acting on student feedback, we introduced a revamped curriculum, a Career Services program, weekly Group Crits, and more.
Introducing UX Academy Financing Options
However, we recognize that the cost of UX Academy—an intensive program offering extensive 1-on-1 contact time with a global community of professional design mentors and career coaches—still represents a significant investment for many of our students.
Over the past year, we have been working with Climb Credit to develop course financing options for those enrolling in UX Academy.
This new offering enables students to pay their course fees over a longer period than has been possible in the past through our in-house installment plans.
Even better, it means significantly lower monthly installments—including interest-only payments for the first 6 months.
Looking to the future, we’re delighted that this partnership promises to widen student access to our courses, in turn enhancing the diversity of modern design education, and ultimately contributing to a fairer and more representative design industry. ♥

Course financing with Climb Credit is just one of a number of big updates we’ll be releasing during 2018. Every day, Designlab’s growing in-house team is working to improve the quality and rigor of the courses we offer.
It’s our privilege to work with the exceptional people who make up our student and mentor community—and it’s our goal to remove the barriers that stand between you and a fulfilling creative career.
